Press release for the WARBOY movie

Spectators are awaited somewhere in the Wild (W)est, in the latest movie directed by Marian Crișan, which will have its premiere in cinemas starting November 17.

“WARBOY is about a teenager through whose eyes we witness the end of World War II, specifically in the autumn of 1944. The boy tries to save his family’s two horses by embarking on an initiatory journey, crossing the wild landscape of the Apuseni Mountains. The film could be described as <a war film> or <a film for children>, what attracted me the most to this project when I conceived it were the western elements that I was glad to bring to the big screen,” confesses the director.
